Charlotte Chabot
Founder and Managing Director of Communications |
|
 |
|
|
| |
Charlotte
is the Founder and Managing
Director of Communications at
Minimax Consulting. It was her
idea (on Pi Day, March 14th)
to start a firm which could
act like a think tank and
provide services to businesses
and other researchers in need
of complex quantitative
modeling, and she has worked
to grow Minimax from that
thought to where we are today.
Born in Paris and raised in
London, Charlotte moved to the
States to study at Brown
University, creating the third
generation of Brown alumni in
her family (her father,
mother, uncle, and maternal
grandfather all also attended
Brown).
She won the Ladies Event at
the Foxwoods World Poker
Finals (WPT) tournament in
2007, placed second at the
Foxwoods Poker Live Tournament
in 2010, and made the front
page in the Providence Journal
for
her successful application of
the connection between
mathematics and poker.
