APA Editing
Minimax offers APA editing of whole dissertations, individual chapters, proposals, prospectuses, and other academic work. We also offer editing in a variety of other academic styles (MLA, Chicago/Turabian, Harvard, etc.) and are well versed in online university formats (University of Phoenix, Capella, Walden, Nova Southeastern, Argosy, Touro, Northcentral, etc.). Many of our competitors offer editing services that cost thousands of dollars and are booked 3 months in advance. Minimax charges far less and offers an extremely fast turnaround time, typically completing our clients´ work in just 3 to 4 days.

A Sample of our Work
Below is a sample of our work, separated into four stages: (a) the original version, (b) a version with problems identified and explained, (c) an example of the "tracked changes" version you will receive that shows the changes an editor has made to your paper, and (d) a final, presentable version.
 Fast, Precise Editing
We have a team of experienced editors trained at top universities who look for formatting, grammar, flow, syntax, and diction errors.
View List of Common Errors
Unlike other editing services, we go far beyond polishing writing, and offer comments on a paper´s construction, organization, and study methodology.
Moreover, because your work will be our editors´ and project managers´ top priority, we are able to offer much faster turnaround than other editing services - often 3 to 4 days for a full dissertation.
 Any Style
Minimax editors are experts in APA and other popular academic styles, including MLA, Chicago/Turabian, Harvard, etc. We pride ourselves on being able to work with any style and within any university´s guidelines. On the rare occasion where we have not been familiar with a school´s guidelines, our editors have taken time to learn how to expertly enforce them before beginning to edit the work.
We are also aware of the special challenges that students at online universities face. If you are an online university student, your paper will have to be approved not only by your professors but also by a format reviewer. Because each online university´s format differs slightly from APA, it is crucial to find an editor who knows not only the base APA style but also each school´s special rules, including:

 A Comprehensive Process
Rather than editing your paper and then failing to assist you during your university´s evaluation, we will work with you and remain in constant communication as your committee reviews your work. As a result, our clients routinely return to us for our range of other services and recommend us to their friends, colleagues, and professors. We believe editing papers is a process, shown below in the presentation link at the bottom of this page, that involves a continuing relationship with our clients.
1. If you´re interested in having your work edited and/or formatted, call Minimax and speak with one of our project managers, who will discuss the details of your project and the services that we can offer you. The project manager you speak with will follow you and your work through the entire process, and will be available for constant communication through phone and email.
2. We e-mail you our non-disclosure agreement, which is an agreement we have signed pledging to protect the confidentiality of your research and not disclose it to third parties.
3. You e-mail us your work in its present state, and your project manager evaluates your paper to determine the particular services that we can offer you. He or she will then immediately contact you with a quote.
4. Following payment, your project manager begins the first of several discussions about your work with an editor, carefully specifying your expectations. Throughout the process, the editor and your project manager will review your work together to make sure you receive the highest quality result possible.
5. We will review your paper for consistency, flow, redundancy, and grammatical errors, making changes and offering comments. We will also review all citations and references, ensuring they comply with your chosen style.
6. We will format each page, table, and figure to follow APA and your school´s requirements. We will create table of contents and lists of tables and figures that can automatically update page numbers and sections as your paper changes.
7. After a final review by the editor and your project manager, we will e-mail you two Microsoft Word files- one copy of your paper with a marking of each change that has been made, and another clean, edited copy that is cleared of the editor´s markings and readily presentable (shown below in the presentation link at the bottom of this page).
8. Once we have sent your completed work, we will follow up shortly thereafter to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the final product.
9. If you or your committee have questions or comments, or would like additional work completed, we will be available to help refine your document at no additional charge. We continue to work with you until your paper is approved.
 Citation Assistance
One of the most difficult parts of using any style is forming the references section. Different punctuation and ordering is necessary for every type of reference, and the section must be perfect to pass university reviews, so it is important to find editors who are experts in citation formatting.
We will check every reference to fit the style you specify, correctly order them, and help fill in any gaps. We regularly use the Brown and Harvard libraries (both physical and online) in helping our clients with their studies, giving us full-text access to hundreds of major journals and databases, including JSTOR, EbscoHost, Questia, ProQuest, ScienceDirect, Blackwell Synergy, and many others. These allow us to find the citation information for nearly any work, helping you fill in the gaps if your references are missing small information such as a place of publication or volume number. We are also able to help organize your citations in bibliographic systems like EndNote and RefWorks.

 Success Stories
"My chair required that I use an APA editor before submitting my dissertation/clinical research project for final review. After looking online and researching information about different companies, I went with Minimax Consulting. Not only were they familiar with my program's requirements, but they were reasonably priced (which is important to full-time graduate students) and well supported by previous consumers. Minimax consultants were able to whip my dissertation into shape in less than one week. Better yet, they responded faithfully to all subsequent requests I made along the way. Submitting my dissertation and formally defending went off without a hitch - thanks to the help of Minimax Consulting! They are experts in this business!"
